THE sun has come out to welcome the annual Applefest which returns to Abbeyleix this afternoon.

Fionn and his family are thrilled with the magnificent machine, which saw Fionn’s wish being granted by the Make a Wish Foundation, with the help of Abbeyleix gardaí.

Due to Covid -19 restrictions, a private family funeral will take place in St. Michael and All Angles Church, Abbeyleix on Thursday at 2 pm.
