Abductors

Abductors of the wife of Pastor Johnson Ajiboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Kwara State, Mrs Bola Ajiboye, have detained a man sent to deliver the ransom to them.

A family source confirmed the rescue of the court president, but noted that she was shot by her abductors.

A family source said that the abductors are asking for N5 million ransom.

Further events occurred overnight in the situation involving Luis Diaz's family, as the wait for his father's release by his abductors approaches a week.

It was gathered that two housewives, Mrs Zainab Umar and Mrs Aisha Zubairu, escaped from their abductors while being led into the bush.

Police operatives in Adamawa state have rescued one Mrs Becky Ladawus, a resident of Nyibango, Yola South Local Government Area from a den of kidnappers during which two of her abductors were also killed.

CHADEMA said Machano's abductors wanted details on who instructed them to burn clothes provided by President Samia Suluhu Hassan during 2023 commemorations of World Women Day in Kilimanjaro region.

He added in his response to inquiry just before noon Monday that the church was yet to hear from the abductors.

The command added that it is currently on the trail of the abductors and will provide more details of the incident in due course.

The father of Jude Oguejiofor, a legal practitioner who was killed by his abductors has slumped and died after hearing the of his son’s demise.

The police stated that the abductors had demanded a ransom.

The source was, however, unable to state whether the families of the abductors paid any ransom before they were released.

The victims were found in a forest in Umunede community, Ika North East Local Government Area, where their abductors were hiding.
