A Professor of Haematology, Prof. Musa Abidemi Muhibi, has said that Nigeria required a minimum of 1.8 million units of blood per year to meet the blood transfusion need of its citizens.

Abidemi Oni is the only APC member in the committee.

The Director of Sports and Chairman of the organising Committee of the visit, AVM Abidemi Marquis, made this known while briefing newsmen on Thursday in Abuja.
