Prof. Akinseye George, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and President, Centre for Socio-Legal Studies, commended Amnesty International for its commitment to in human rights protection.

Akinseye further stated that aside from secondary schools within the FCT, a Rotaract Club, which is for tertiary institutions has been set up in university of Abuja.

Akinseye spoke before Justice Okon Abang during a cross-examination in the ongoing trial of Nolan at the Federal High Court, Abuja.

Akinseye, who is the first prosecution witness, explained that he did not inform the anti-graft agency about the matter, but the EFCC, rather, contacted his bank on the matter.

NAN recalls that the EFCC’s lawyer had, on Wednesday, called his first prosecution witness, Agunbiade Adewale Akinseye, an account officer with the Guarantee Trust Bank.
