For two years, the board has floated the idea of closing the school and bussing Arborfield students 25 kilometres to Carrot River, where a new school is set to be built.

The 16,000sq. ft supermarket giant will be located in the Arborfield area, located at the northeastern corner of the Nine Mile Ride Extension.

The series, starring Superman actor Henry Cavill, was being shot at Arborfield Studios, London, and was initially scheduled to premiere in 2021.

RCMP are investigating a break-and-enter at a business in Arborfield.
