The following roads are being worked on: Second Avenue from Highway 18 to Ninth Street, Washington Avenue from Highway 18 to Pleasant Court, Ninth Street from Washington Avenue to Eighth Avenue, and Eleventh Street from Sixth Avenue to Eighth Avenue.

Thanks to “mill and overlay” repaving, the city and county have added short stretches of bike lanes on: Territorial Road, Larpenteur Avenue, Fairview Avenue, Arlington Avenue, Marshall Avenue, and Tedesco Street.

Extending 45th Street South from 52nd Avenue to 64th Avenue was delayed, and the scope of the Seventh Avenue North project was reduced to only Broadway to Second Street North, cutting out the project to Elm Street.

The area affected will be Cobham Avenue South to Innis Avenue South between 3rd Avenue South and the end of Wattsville Road.

They began at Florence Avenue and worked their way south on Western Avenue toward a grocery store parking lot on Manchester Avenue, where five Black-owned food trucks awaited the participants.

According to a message sent from the City of Naperville’s Naper Notify notification system, roads affected included Washington Street between Van Buren Avenue and Franklin Avenue, and Benton Avenue between Center Street and Main Street.

In addition to Highway 100, Vernon Avenue was also closed across Highway 100, Eden Avenue, Grange Road and Arcadia Avenue.

It is also a large crossroads between several of the main streets of the city: avenue Jean Médecin, avenue Félix Faure, boulevard Jean Jaurès, avenue de Verdun and rue Gioffredo.

The boundaries of the original city were Douglas Avenue to the north, Wood and Regent streets to the east, Mount Hope Avenue to the south, and Jenison Avenue to the west.

The city is also home to Bulkeley High School on Wethersfield Avenue, Global Communications Academy on Greenfield Avenue, Weaver High School on Granby Street, and Sport Medical and Sciences Academy on Huyshope Avenue.

The grid runs east-west from the LIRR Bay Ridge Branch right-of-way to Flushing Avenue; and north-south from Forest Avenue in Ridgewood to Bushwick Avenue in Brooklyn before adjusting to meet up with the Bedford-Stuyvesant grid at Broadway.

A123 Fanshawe Avenue in both directions at Monteagle Avenue will have temporary lights due to water main work until July 21.
