Bösendorfer

Haddington Concert Society’s Bösendorfer grand piano was previously housed in Haddington Town House.

Amos performed solo each night on her iconic Bösendorfer piano, and on a prepared piano during "Bells for Her".

Modern equivalents of the player piano include the Bösendorfer CEUS, Yamaha Disklavier and QRS Pianomation, citation using solenoids and MIDI rather than pneumatics and rolls.

Ohlsson ended up performing on a Bösendorfer piano borrowed at the eleventh hour, and Steinway would not let him borrow Steinway-owned pianos for some time.

The Adler 12-string has the same range as the Bösendorfer 290 grand piano with 97 notes.
