Ahead of the February 25, 2023 general elections, Borno state governor, Umara Babagana Zulum has told the voting public that the state is 90 per cent safe, assuring of their safety before, during and after the elections.

Babagana Umara Zulum in response to the minister and his delegation, reiterated commitment to his continued support for the Nigerian military in the fight against Boko Haram insurgency across the northeast.

Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum has given final approval for immediate recruitment of 4,000 new teachers already evaluated and shortlisted for deployment to public primary and secondary schools across Borno State.
