Backdown

The Australian E-Safety Commissioner Julie Inman-Grant took the billionaire's tech firm to court in a bid to force them to delete the widespread images - ultimately withdrawing the action in what really was a humiliating backdown.

Sanders campaign manager Faiz Shakir accused her of "continuing her gradual backdown from Medicare for All" and suggested that she had been inconsistent on the issue of health care.

That the Tamil Nadu discom had a practical reason for the backdown – the inability of its grid to handle large parcels of intermittent wind power — is not helpful to a company that has to pay back its bank dues out of its electricity sales.
