But there are other ballots outstanding: Military and overseas ballots can still be received through Friday, and voters whose ballots were marked as deficient because of missing information can “cure” them on Friday.

Early in-person voting as well as who is eligible for mail-in ballots is determined by each state, meaning when and where voters can cast early ballots varies considerably.

Election officials told the New Jersey Globe that 80 provisional ballots and 30 uncounted ballots collected from secure ballot drop boxes are not in the tally.
