Forty-five children-sized beanies were delivered to Jeppe Girls High School for the Cupcakes of Hope project and 74 beanies were delivered to Stephanie Malan who will deliver them to the Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital’s oncology ward.

The beanies were donated to the Advertiser by Boksburg resident Noleen on behalf of her 90-year-old mother Daphne Braaf who knitted the colourful beanies.
