BORDERERS are invited to The Great Tapestry of Scotland Visitor Centre in Galashiels on Friday January 27 for a presentation on Cultural Tourism in the town.

Fellow Borderers Zach Bruce, from Coldstream, and Jay McGarva, from Earlston, were on the bench.

A CREDIT union service is now available to Borderers for the first time.

At the current time, Borderers can turn up at centres to dispose of such items as armchairs, kitchen and dining room chairs, home office chairs, futons, bean bags and floor and sofa cushions.
