Buggles

The fourth member would be Geoff Downes, who gained notoriety as part of the new wave duo The Buggles, but also earned some prog rock credibility by joining Yes for a single album.

Both of the Buggles' albums have received positive reception from music critics.

Initial searches for the right record label to record and release an album failed, "'The Buggles' by Geoffrey Downes" (liner notes).

On 11 November 2004, The Buggles reunited with Doss, Allen and Woolley at Wembley Arena to perform "Video Killed the Radio Star" and "The Plastic Age" as part of a Prince's Trust charity concert celebrating Horn's career as a producer.

Since 1998, Horn and Downes have occasionally performed The Buggles' songs.

The album title pays homage to the trademark Buggles song, and Horn performed the song with Williams (Horn on bass, Williams on vocals) at the BBC Electric Proms on 20 October 2009.

The set list featured most of the first album as well as a couple of songs from the second, along with one selection each from Yes, ELP, King Crimson and the Buggles to acknowledge the history of each member of the band.
