Carpsucker

Some of the fish they believed had been completely lost upstream of the dam included channel catfish, sauger, goldeye, river carpsucker, flathead chub, Western silvery minnow, plains minnow, sturgeon chub and shovelnose sturgeon.

Distribution and habitat The Quillback Carpsucker is found throughout much of North America, from Saskatchewan to Florida, and from South Dakota to Alabama.
