A care worker for the Clackmannanshire and Stirling Health and Social Care Partnership has been named as a finalist for the NHS Local Staff Awards.

At a Clackmannanshire Council meeting on December 1, elected members heard that out of an estimated 70 short term let businesses in the Wee County, none at that time had applied for such a licence so far.

Nearly 600 children benefitted from the programme, which comes as Clackmannanshire Council invests in new community swimming pools as part of the Wellbeing Hub and Lochies School development.
