Clade

The basal clade consists of the family Rosaceae; another clade consists of four families, including Rhamnaceae; and the third clade consists of the four urticalean families.

The combination of this clade with the clade Glires (composed of Rodentia and Lagomorpha ) forms the clade Euarchontoglires.

Clade 1 has a high fatality rate and a mutant strain of it, called Clade 1b, has spread rapidly.

The clade 1b strain of mpox was detected in a 38-year-old patient who was admitted to a government hospital in the Malappuram district of Kerala last week after reporting symptoms of fever and rashes, according to reports.
