Last month, Larry Closs, a writer and photographer, an article detailing the history of the tree, tracing it back to the 1980s, when the casting director Jason Reddock, who had been walking his dog in the Ramble, noticed a tree with dog toys on it.

Police said Closs is known to frequent the cities of Sudbury, Toronto, and Kingston.

After he killed the Closs parents and put Jayme in the trunk, he took off the black mask he had been wearing and started to drive away in his older red Ford Taurus, the complaint states.

After she woke up her father, James Closs went to the front door, authorities said.
