The supermarket giant is urging customers with a Tesco Clubcard to spend more than £16 million worth of Clubcard vouchers before November 30.

Customers are able to double the value of their Clubcard vouchers by exchanging them for vouchers at one of Tesco’s Clubcard Reward Partners including PizzaExpress, Alton Towers Resort and Hotels.com.

The scheme has the best return on spend for its customers, as every 150 Clubcard points earned translates into £1.50 in Clubcard vouchers.

But Zoe did say Tesco were doing good deals on frozen produce on their clubcard prices.

Currently, shoppers can redeem their Clubcard points for triple their value when used against a “Reward Partner”.

Due to the current average price of two litres of unleaded (£2.90 according to RAC) and diesel (£3.20), customers will have to spend more on fuel to earn the same amount of Clubcard points, assuming fuel prices remain above £1 per litre until the change.

It's not the only change coming to Clubcard holders this year.

Terms of use state you need to be aged 18 or above to have a Clubcard account in order to get instant discounts on a number of items when they use their card at the till.

Tesco Clubcard points – one point for every £1 you spend – are only valid for two years.

The Clubcard also offers you exclusive discounted prices on everyday products.

This new specification will come in from Wednesday, June 14 and it means you'll have to spend more on fuel to earn the same number of Clubcard points.

Both new and existing Ovo Energy customers can earn 2,500 free Tesco Clubcard points simply by linking their accounts online.

Despite this, the celebrated chocolate bar has already hit supermarket shelves including Tesco where a 360 gram bar costs £4.50, or £4 for Clubcard members.

Exclusive to Clubcard members, Quality Street, Cadbury and Lindt chocolates will be available at reduced prices.
