In conclusion, he wish to categorical state that since the Regent of Dagbon, Kanpakuya-naa Abdulai is in the center of this matter it will be odd for him to say it, He Nyankpal-lana Abdulai Yakubu stands and says that, the funeral will not be performed.

It is unclear what his absence means for the peace road map in Dagbon crafted by the Committee of Eminent Chiefs.
