Adamawa REC, Ari, had earlier declared that the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani won the supplementary gubernatorial election that was held on Saturday.

She also justified her support for Aisha Binani Dahiru of the All Progressives Congress during the 2023 governorship election in Adamawa State.

The Federal High Court in Abuja, had on Monday, halted INEC from prosecuting the suspended Yunusa-Ari over his declaration of All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Aisha (Binani) Dahiru, as winner of the March 18, 2023 poll.

Tinubu also called for an investigation into the murder of the district head of Maigari in Kano State, who was the father of Rimin Gado Local Government chairman, Munir Dahiru Maigari.

The Supreme Court has reserved judgment in the appeal by the All Progressives Congress () and its governorship candidate, Aisha Dahiru, popularly called Binani, against Adamawa Governor Ahmadu Fintiri.

Yusuf Dahiru Liman, the speaker of the House of Assembly and representative of Makera Constituency, retained his seat by winning the rerun election held in five wards of his constituency on Saturday.

Dahiru said that the suspects have confessed to the crime after interrogation adding that the case would be transferred to the police for further investigation and possible prosecution.

Happily, the prosecution continued despite Dahiru's bail-jumping antics.
