Dangote holds significant stake in Dangote Cement, Dangote Sugar, Nascon Allied Industries, Dangote Flour Mills among many others.

The largest single train refinery in the world, Dangote Refinery, will commence operations in April 2020, according to the President of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote.

Executive Director, Commercial, NASCON Allied Industries, Fatima Aliko Dangote, has revealed that women play a pivotal role in the success story of the Dangote Group.

In his goodwill message to the foremost industrialist, Kalu said: “I join family, friends, associates and well-wishers in celebrating the giant accomplishments of the President of Dangote Group of Companies, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, as he clocks 66.

Alhaji Aliko Dangote, President and Chief Executive of Dangote Industries Limited, has garnered both admirers and detractors on a large scale.

Aliko Dangote, the president of the Dangote Group, declared that his refinery would no longer import refined petroleum products into Nigeria or any other country in Africa.

Chairman of the association, Mr Momoh Oyarekhua, said this on Thursday in a statement while congratulating Mr Aliko Dangote and his team at the Dangote Refinery, on the remarkable achievement of commencing the production of PMS.

Edwin stated that the President of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, was the one who insisted on dealing with the Nigerian government in naira because of the foreign exchange challenges confronting the country.

He is the CEO of the Dangote Group, which owns several businesses, including a sugar refinery, a fertiliser refinery, and the mega Dangote Refinery.

However, while reacting to the minister’s statement, fuel marketers told BH they were yet to start the direct purchase of petrol from Dangote refinery despite NNPC’s abrupt withdrawal from its fuel deal with Dangote.

Managing director of Dangote Ports Operations, Akin Omole, told newsmen at the Dangote Quay, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos that the Refinery will receive about four million crude shipment before the end of 2023 and the remaining two by the early of January 2024.

Recall that the Dangote Group had disagreed with NNPC on Sunday on the N898/litre PMS cost announced by NNPC as the price at which Dangote sold the commodity.

Suleiman also accused the CEO of Dangote Refinery, Aliko Dangote, of sidelining key stakeholders in its fuel supply strategy, claiming that limited engagement with independent marketers has hampered their ability to lift petrol from the facility.

The National President of HOSTCOM, Dr. Benjamin Tamaramiebi, accompanied by his executives and traditional rulers from the Niger Delta region, toured the Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals and the Dangote Fertiliser Limited complex.

This statement follows allegations by Alhaji Aliko Dangote, President of the Dangote Group, who has accused certain ‘mafias’ of attempting to sabotage his $20 billion refinery project.

Also, chief commercial officer, Dangote Group, Mr Rabiu Umar, recently said following the negative impact of COVID-19 on the economy, Dangote Cement decided to award the total of N1 billion to 1,000 winners across the country.

Dangote president and CEO Aliko Dangote has been vocal about the need for Nigeria to move away from its dependence on imports.

Dangote, represented by Ms Zouera Youssoufou, Managing Director Dangote Foundation (ADF), said: “It is with great pride that we hand over the Yaba Isolation Center to Lagos state.

In his remarks, the chairman of Dangote conglomerate, Alhaji Aliko Dangote commended the Mallam Nasir El- Rufai administration for putting in place policies that is fast attracting foreign investors to the state.

He joined Dangote Group in July 1997 and served as its Financial Controller and Head of Strategic Services till 2001 when he was appointed to the board of Dangote Industries Limited as Executive Director/ Group Strategist.
