The largest single train refinery in the world, Dangote Refinery, will commence operations in April 2020, according to the President of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote.

Managing director of Dangote Ports Operations, Akin Omole, told newsmen at the Dangote Quay, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos that the Refinery will receive about four million crude shipment before the end of 2023 and the remaining two by the early of January 2024.

Suleiman also accused the CEO of Dangote Refinery, Aliko Dangote, of sidelining key stakeholders in its fuel supply strategy, claiming that limited engagement with independent marketers has hampered their ability to lift petrol from the facility.

This statement follows allegations by Alhaji Aliko Dangote, President of the Dangote Group, who has accused certain ‘mafias’ of attempting to sabotage his $20 billion refinery project.

Dangote president and CEO Aliko Dangote has been vocal about the need for Nigeria to move away from its dependence on imports.

Dangote, represented by Ms Zouera Youssoufou, Managing Director Dangote Foundation (ADF), said: “It is with great pride that we hand over the Yaba Isolation Center to Lagos state.

In his remarks, the chairman of Dangote conglomerate, Alhaji Aliko Dangote commended the Mallam Nasir El- Rufai administration for putting in place policies that is fast attracting foreign investors to the state.

Local newspapers reported that Aliko Dangote, the owner of Dangote Cement and the richest man in Africa is expected to arrive in Addis Ababa on Thursday, May 17, 2018.

Mr Dangote is a Nigerian business magnate and owner of the Dangote Group.

THE Aliko Dangote Foundation has inaugurated the Dangote village built for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.

The statement signed by Mr Anthony Chiejina, Corporate Communication Officer, Dangote Group said that the Obajana-Kabba rigid pavement road project was part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CRS) of the Dangote Group Plc.

Another trainee, Micheal Roseline, 22, from Obajana Community, and a holder of National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, described the Dangote Group as a “blessing to humanity”.
