Delly

Before Delly left for Florida, Moss didn't treat her right, and even ruined her birthday.

Ironically, the series makes us think Delly’s purpose is complete in getting Mike to the show’s setting.

Mike has no interest in returning to Florida, his home state, but is forced to (and deep down wants to go because of his connection to Delly) which is where the series really kicks off.

But by going with a low-risk signing in bringing back Delly, it shows me that they are sticking to this rebuilding plan/prioritizing player development.

I’d imagine seeing how Delly operates at times in games helped Garland as well, and seemingly in the film room, I’d bet.

Of course, Delly only appearing in 14.4 minutes per game played into that, but his awareness on that end has continually aided Cleveland when he’s been out there.

Of course, I get Delly’s only playing 12.3 minutes per game, though.

Before the challenge, Burris rapped under the name Delly The Rapper.

But then the Cavs-Bucks-Wizards trade happened, and Delly came back, and a surge of good feeling came with him.
