After being identified through CCTV, response officers headed to Veckas’ house in Dogsthorpe Road, Peterborough, where he was arrested and found to be in possession of heroin.

Sharef, of Ash Court, Dogsthorpe, appeared at Peterborough Crown Court on Thursday, September 7 where he was sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison after previously admitting being concerned in the of cocaine.

Cllr Dennis Jones (Labour, Dogsthorpe) said that the proposals wouldn’t “stop me from wanting to live there or make me want to move away”.

Cllr Ishfaq Hussain (Conservatives, Dogsthorpe) added that this showed a “lack of consideration” for residents of Eyebury Road, which officers said they had made clear can't take on any further HGV movements.

Hassan, of Dogsthorpe Road, Millfield, appeared at Huntingdon Law Courts yesterday (Tuesday) where he was sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison after previously admitting possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine.
