Dragonair is often considered to be better than its evolved form Dragonite purely from a design perspective.

Duncan’s style does an excellent job of capturing the friendly demeanor that Dragonite’s official artwork tries to convey.

Snorlax and Dragonite are more traditional examples, while Ash's powerful Bayleef made good use of the move in the anime.

The collaboration with Pokémon includes Dragonite created by Fendi’s leather artisans as a collector’s item available in a limited series, branded with its own silk FF foulard, requiring more than 30 hours of manual workmanship.

In the aforementioned "Mystery at the Lighthouse," Ash and Co. come across what is simply described as a "legendary Pokémon," but as any veteran of the "Who's that Pokémon?" segments can tell you, was just a supersized Dragonite.

While Garchomp's competitive viability makes him particularly exciting, few Pokémon are more iconic than Dragonite.
