Alderholt Parish Council have agreed use the money to help fight an appeal by Dudsbury Homes to build properties in the area.

Although Dudsbury Golf Club in Bournemouth has now closed, part of its legacy lives on at Weymouth Golf Club.

DUDSBURY GOLF Club Hotel and Spa has announced it will be permanently closing its doors from next month.

The Planning Inspectorate has begun the planning public inquiry appeal into Dudsbury Homes' rejected plans to build 1,700 homes on land south of Ringwood Road., Alderholt.

This is because Weymouth Golf Club, based on Links Road, has been able to upgrade its changing rooms with lockers and other furniture from Dudsbury.
