Eaglecrest saw an early four-run lead erased, then went ahead again in the fifth on a solo home run from junior Briahna Gallegos and run-scoring infield hit from junior Zaya Elliott.

For Eaglecrest, there were plenty of positives to take away despite coming up short on the road.
