Croydon has been hit by a wave of violence this week, including the death of 15-year-old Elianne Andam who was stabbed to death on her way to school.

Yesterday saw Elianne's family make their first visit to the scene of the murder on Wellesley Road in Croydon, spending time walking around the bus she got off before the attack and praying with the Bishop of Croydon Rosemarie Mallett.

Another witness from the bus says she Sentamu stabbing Elianne before he put a 20cm knife back into his waistband and walk off 'calmly'.

Asked to recall the moments before Elianne grabbed the bag, she says: "She just asked him 'Please let me get my stuff like I gave you yours, just normal things like that, and he's saying 'No no no' and he's getting louder and becoming more aggressive.
