Eraserhead

Eraserhead is a feared and well-respected Pro Hero who uses a specialized cloth during combat.

Roth's troubled project got a nice little shot in the arm in 2001 when Lynch, director of "Eraserhead" and "Twin Peaks," agreed to sign on as an executive producer.

As Shigaraki has already defeated the likes of Endeavor and other professional heroes, things are looking grim for Midoriya and his fellow classmates, with many predicting that Eraserhead won't survive the rest of this arc.

Eraserhead might have gotten off on the wrong foot with fans, but the Pro Hero has since made amends.

After the commercial and critical failure of Lynch's Dune (1984), he made attempts at developing a more "personal story", somewhat characteristic of the surrealist style he displayed in his debut Eraserhead (1977).

Despite the fact that the film was planned to be about forty-two minutes long (it ended up being eighty-nine minutes long), the script for Eraserhead was only 21 pages long, and Lynch was able to create the film free from interference.

The idea of deformity is also found in several of Lynch's films, from The Elephant Man to the deformed baby in Eraserhead, as well as death from head wounds, found in most of Lynch's films.

This can be seen in John Merrick 's dream of his mother in The Elephant Man, Agent Cooper 's dreams of the red room in Twin Peaks and the "dreamlike logic" of the narrative found in Eraserhead, Mulholland Drive and Inland Empire.
