Labor will have a crack at winning another seat from the Liberals when voters head to the polls in the federal seat of Fadden on the Gold Coast on July 15.

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said Labor was yet to decide if it would contest Fadden, saying expectations about winning the very safe Liberal seat were “realistic”.

Robert, who represented the Queensland seat of Fadden, resigned from parliament in May.
