Ferrybank

Ferrybank Men’s Shed is one of the most active and innovative organisations of its type in the South East and it now has a Women’s Shed onsite too.

The death has occurred of Aidan ‘Aidy’ Kennedy, late of Congress Place, formerly of SignaCare, Ferrybank, Waterford February 27, 2023.

Adding it has been given to the community to provide a series of beautiful gardens that people can grow fruit, vegetables, flowers etc. “Similar projects in Ferrybank are so popular there is a waiting list in place to get a spot.

Although the latter will be favourites to progress to meet the men from Abbeylands, there’s no doubting that Ferrybank will be ready for whatever challenge comes their way as they aim to progress to the last 32 of the National competition.

A fortuitous goal from county panellist Mark O’Brien ultimately proved the difference between the sides in the opening game of the East Waterford Intermediate hurling championship and handed Ferrybank the perfect start to their season.
