The comedian and writer hit the button for Flakefleet Primary School, after their choir charmed pretty much everybody with their rendition of Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now.

The final line-up also includes Police officer Dave and his dog Finn, the Flakefleet Primary School choir, magical quartet 4MG, singing comedian Siobhan Phillips, singing pensioner Colin Thacker and comedian Kojo Amin.

So he put up a new school Facebook page, ‘Flakefleet For Christmas No. 1’, and that was that.

So, no, Flakefleet Primary didn’t make it to No. 1. But they have been invited on to next year’s Britain’s Got Talent.
