About 30% of all flights at Dallas Love Field Airport, home to Southwest, were canceled by early afternoon, according to tracking service FlightAware.

According to statistics from flight tracking website FlightAware, at least 74 flights inside, to, or from the US have been canceled during the course of Saturday and Sunday, and 465 more have been delayed as of Saturday morning ET.

So far on Wednesday, there have been 17 cancellations and 46 delays at Kahului Airport (OGG) in Maui, according to FlightAware.

U.S. airports were reporting only five flight cancellations and 364 flight delays, according to FlightAware, a tracking service.

As of 8pm Saturday evening, the travel disruption was still happening with 247 flights still delayed and six flights canceled, FlightAware reported.

But it’s important to remember that the plane you are scheduled to fly on is always subject to change, says FlightAware spokesperson and former airline pilot Kathleen Bangs.

Chicago’s two major airports are seeing the bulk of the cancellations, with nearly 40% of departing flights at O’Hare and more than 60% of departing flights at Midway, according to FlightAware Friday afternoon.

FlightAware data at first showed how the plane had been traveling from State University Airport, spurring the college to issue a statement to state that the plane merely used its facilities and did not have a connection to the university itself.

Last year, the rate of canceled flights was about five times greater in July and August than it was during Thanksgiving and nearly three times greater than the Christmas period, according to FlightAware data.

More than 700 flights were canceled nationwide Sunday due to the heavy snow blanketing much of the Northeast, according to FlightAware.

The aircraft took off from The Ohio State University Airport just after 1 p.m., according to tracking data from FlightAware.

The airline has cancelled 131 flights Thursday and delayed 223 others, making up nearly 30% of its overall flights, according to data tracker FlightAware.

The plane, an older-model Boeing 777-200 according to FlightAware, landed early in Krasnoyarsk, Russia, where customers have been stuck for hours waiting for the airline to fix the problem.

While the majority of flights from Houston’s two major commercial airports were leaving on time as of midday Sunday, more than 65 flights had been delayed and another four canceled, according to FlightAware data.

According to the flight tracking website FlightAware.com the plane had arrived in Daytona Beach on Thursday after a flight from Page Field in Fort Myers.

The bulk of the nation’s flight delays and cancellations hit Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, with more than 1,000 flights canceled and hundreds more delayed on Saturday afternoon, according to flightaware.

Several airports announced closings, and 823 flights within, into and out of the U.S. were so far canceled, according to FlightAware, an aviation data company.

Data from FlightAware showed it had reached an altitude of only 5,200 feet (1,580 meters).

FlightAware showed the aircraft left Pembroke at 9:05 a.m., heading east and crossing into U.S. airspace on the most direct route to Atlantic Canada.

Flight tracker FlightAware says the plane left the gate at 2:17 p.m. local time, just a few minutes behind schedule, and took off at 2:45 p.m. It was due to land in Chattanooga less than two hours later, at 5 p.m. local time.
