FlySafair’s Kirby Gordon confirmed this.

One of South Africa’s largest airlines, FlySafair is facing undisclosed sanctions, which could be fines, suspension, or cancellation of its operation licence over it’s alleged non-compliance with ownership laws.

The warning by the SACAA comes after SABC employee Nobuntu Mkhize was caught on camera causing a disturbance and hurling racist comments at cabin crew on a recent FlySafair flight.

Novick said they are not planning to engage in a price war with Kulula and FlySafair, as it is an unsustainable business model.

FlySafair won Best Airline in Africa in the 2019 TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice awards again.
