Reflecting on his tenure, Dr. Francesconi shared, “It has been an honor to serve the community of La Porte for the past 13 years.

Francesconi said local veteran Steve LaFogg is willing to help.

Francesconi is up for election this year and there is the possibility the board could have two new members.

Selectman Robert Ciskowski noted that Maple Drive is a very low traffic area and Francesconi said it has been paved already multiple times, but Crane said it really needs to be redone.
