Frenchville

FRENCHVILLE, Maine — The Maine Supreme Judicial Court affirmed a decision made in a case where a Madawaska man was found guilty of plowing over a portion of gravel road in a dispute with Frenchville town officials.

Five additional non-profits were awarded $1,000 grants through the program: Beth C. Wright Cancer Research Center, Town of Frenchville Fire Department, Old Town Animal Orphanage, Penobscot Theatre, and Safe Kids Maine.

There are eight in Fort Kent, four in Van Buren, one in Frenchville, and one in Madawaska.

Frenchville was one of those communities.

He was born January 29, 1964 in Frenchville, ME, to Leonide and Cecile (Blanche) Dumais Daigle.

The two communities are part of a cooperative sewage treatment system in which waste from St. Agatha is transferred via sewer line to Frenchville, where it is treated.
