Neighbors, including some of the local gallerists who often rented out the space for dinners, have suggested a big, celebratory send-off inside the Pavilion before it is torn down.

The move has elicited a sharp response from a number of other gallerists around the country, who say such an approach is unfair.

Future will foster that support by charging participating gallerists to create unique, bilateral mini-shows.

The fair has also provided a good opportunity for us to train ourselves as gallerists.

Yet to most gallerists, vetting is a crucial and necessary process that builds up credibility all around.
