He called on other institutions to follow on the first step taken by the GIPF in setting up their own incubation programmes "to further add to the development of the industry in Namibia".

GIPF took the decision to upgrade to DMS to reduce the time it takes to process registering documents, scanning, indexing and creating workflow cases.

He said the GIPF case occurred prior to the enactment and operationalisation of ACC.

In celebration of this milestone, GIPF will embark on an extensive Information campaign for its members, sharing vital information about the fund and highlighting its achievements.

The upcoming information campaign will highlight several milestones the fund has achieved over the 30 years and will share testimonies of the fund's staff members as well as GIPF members.

People familiar with GIPF matters said a board investment committee will meet next week, but could not say whether the MTC transaction would be discussed.
