Byrne is involved in several hotels in Ireland, including the Club at Goffs - where Derry and Sallyanne Clarke returned to the restaurant business – The Eccles in Glengarriff, Co Cork, and the REZz collection of budget hotels.

Goffs Thyestes Day is a real highlight of the Irish National Hunt calendar, mixing highly competitive steeplechasing with a race day experience like no other.

A Group 2 winner and unbeaten in two starts, Master Of The Seas is out to give trainer Charlie Appleby his third consecutive victory in the Group 1 Goffs Vincent O’Brien National Stakes.

By 1975, Goffs were based in Kill, with Hall established in their Pedigree Department.

As word spread, so did interest, and to provide prospective paranormal investigators with an introduction, the Goffs developed Ghostology 101 and 201, which they present for free in Western Mass libraries.
