President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated governors who recently emerged as leaders of the Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) and Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) respectively.

This is evidence that the June 2020GBV State of Emergency declared by the Nigeria Governors Forum at the insistence of the Nigeria Governors Wives Forum (now the Nigeria Governors Spouses Forum)and the advocacy that has sustained it is working.

The five governors are former Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, ex-Ogun governors, Senator Ibikunle Amosun and Rochas Okorocha, Abdulfatah Ahmed and Barrister Mohammed Abubakar, governors of Imo, Kwara and Bauchi states respectively.
