Grumps

Owner Collier Albright founded Grumps back in 2001 when he decided it was time to leave his corporate gig and try his hand at making burgers.

The story, which has been illustrated by artist Emma Geddes, is set in a place called Tittle Tat and features the title character Grumpy Grumps and his dog Bow Wow.

Old men at the bar crack wise, one-time Clare Grogan grumps about the place in an Aran sweater … and of course Jen eventually melts the heart of jilted Rob.

For instance, a comic from 1909 complains about overcrowding, while another from 1933 grumps about passengers who crowd too close, even when the car is empty.

United published their latest accounts last week, with the football world agog at the then-latest episode in the war of the grumps between Mourinho and Paul Pogba, his underperforming stellar player.
