It’s terrible for consumers as well and undermines the message that everyone should dump their gas guzzlers soon.

A similar phenomenon exists in the United States, where gas-guzzlers symbolize nearly every cliche point of American pride: affluence, capability for individual expression, and personal freedoms.

If you’re old like me, though, you remember the bad times, circa 2008, when gas-guzzlers were swiftly not in vogue because of high gas prices and a recession.

Not only did he fail to see the decline in overall demand, but he stocked too many second-hand gas-guzzlers at a time customers were wanting greener vehicles.
