Founder of Hawkstone, Jeremy Clarkson, said: “Farming isn’t just ‘how’ Hawkstone is made, it’s ‘why’ it’s made.

A “well-stocked bar” will sell local craft beers and cider, including the popular Hawkstone and Ashmolean IPA, created in collaboration with Hook Norton.

He recently issued a warning and recalled its bottles of Hawkstone Cider after reports of them exploding emerged.

The 63-year-old presenter said a mistake meant there was a "slim chance" some of the Hawkstone Cider bottles may erupt.

After indulging in his soon-to-be-famous sausages and mash, drenched in Hawkstone beer-infused gravy, I made my way to Alex's event where the party was already underway.

A pint will set punters back around £5.50, and food ranges from £5 for a sausage roll to £19 for a steak pie with mash and Hawkstone gravy.

Mr Wareing said: "I've found the management at Hawkstone Brewery to be really co-operative in their desire to be a good neighbour.

Naturally, Clarkson’s own drinks brand, Hawkstone, is heavily featured on the menu with its selection of lagers, IPAs, and ciders.
