Arab is a Medical Doctor with specialisation in Pediatrics, Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.

The clinical services for Cardiology and Nephrology will be done on every 2nd Wednesday of the month and Oncology, Hepatology and Endocrinology on every Wednesday of the month at NHAK.

At present, the Hepatology department has 38 beds and at least 300 patients are admitted to the department in a month.

It also provides ophthalmology, neuroscience, immunology, hepatology and dermatology, respiratory, cardio-metabolic, and established medicine products.

One study published in the Journal of Hepatology showed that men and women respond differently to cirrhosis and to the medications that treat it — and that may have to do with differences in microbiota.

This 24 month follow up research published in Lancet Gastroenterology and Hepatology this week has shown that benefits continue two years after treatment despite patients having no further therapy after the initial CBT course.
