BC broke out 2-on-1 with Mattila and junior right wing Logan Hutsko (2 assists) executing a perfect give-and-go.

Following last Saturday’s game, BC head coach Jerry York confirmed that junior Logan Hutsko had sustained a potential knee injury and had sat out the back half of the game as a precaution.

Logan Hutsko did ring a post after picking up a loose rebound, but for the most part, BC struggled to get through the neutral zone with much speed to create their chances.

Logan Hutsko got the puck in front of the net before it ricocheted off Alex Vlasic and past Ashton Abel.

Cotton-Mattila-Hutsko: I’m calling it right now, this will be one of the best lines in all of college hockey, and the quest to get to that point starts this weekend.

David Cotton was excellent for the Eagles offensively, recording two goals and two assists, while Logan Hutsko also chipped in with assists on the first two goals.

Hutsko has been placed on administrative leave from St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church in Merrillville.

The Eagles worked the puck down low, where Logan Hutsko gave Cotton a perfect pass in the slot area.

While on leave, Hutsko will not be allowed to serve in any capacity as a priest.
