Ideographs

Kaii moji (会意文字) Kaii (Mandarin: huìyì) characters are compound ideographs, often called "compound indicatives", "associative compounds", or just "ideographs".

Augmentative devices tools that help individuals with limited or absent speech to communicate, such as communication boards, pictographs (symbols that look like the things they represent), or ideographs (symbols representing ideas).

However, attempts to do this for character encoding have stumbled over the fact that ideographs do not decompose as simply or as regularly as Hangul does.

Ideological criticism also treats ideology as an artifact of discourse, one that is embedded in key terms (called " ideographs ") as well as material resources and discursive embodiment.

The CJK ideographs currently have codes only for their precomposed form.
