IIMs will now release their shortlists for subsequent admission processes based on, among other things, the CAT 2023 scores.

Major projects included two All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), two IIMs, IIT, Ring Roads in Jammu and Srinagar, widening and strengthening of National Highways, tourism, health and power projects.

Organisations participating in this study included representatives from high-profile HE institutions, including IITs, IIMs, the University of Madras and Delhi University.

The central government has set up a number of IITs, IIMs and Kendriya Vidyalayas in the past four years, he said.

There are 19 IIMS in total, 12 of which were established after the year 2010.
