There is no Kinect for Xbox Series X or S, and there probably will not be a Kinect any time soon, if ever.

In an effort to make the Kinect more appealing, Microsoft tried lots of little deals and gimmicks that worked in tandem with its established features like motion capture and voice commands.

With its rear I/O including the power port, digital optical audio port, proprietary A/V port, HDMI out, three USB ports, Ethernet, and auxiliary port for Kinect, users can easily connect their console to a range of devices.

As a group, sell-side analysts forecast that World Kinect Co. will post 2.12 earnings per share for the current year.

Bank of Montreal Can raised its holdings in shares of World Kinect Co. (NYSE:WKC - Free Report) by 6.7% in the 2nd quarter, according to its most recent 13F filing with the SEC.

Even after dropping the bundled-in Kinect and focusing more on games, the Xbox One is unfortunately still playing catchup.

On Thursday Microsoft confirmed its Xbox Series X won’t support the Kinect and the console’s backward compatibility—a feature that’s been heavily hyped in the lead up to its release—won’t extend to games designed for the peripheral.

Of course, you could do this and achieve the same effect with Microsoft's old Kinect.
