On Aug. 7, Congregation Shaarey Zedek in Southfield revived its Laker Family concert series with a free Feeling Groovy concert sponsored by the Irving and Beverly Laker Concert Fund and the Laker family.

And yes, I am a Laker fan.

But Stormers assistant coach Norman Laker doesn’t believe that they are favourites and admits they are set to face a different team in Pretoria.

Answering the first question from The Laker News minutes after being announced by Councillor Keith Rhyno as the award recipient, and being presented with it by Warden Eleanor Roulston, she pointed to those around her as why things run smoothly.
