The Golden State Warriors have signed free-agent forward Marquese Chriss to a one-year deal, according to a report Tuesday by Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

But the Suns’ future hinges on Marquese Chriss, Josh Jackson and Dragan Bender either improving to a level closer to Devin Booker’s or becoming attractive enough for the Suns to package in a trade for an established star.

It’s almost as though the Basketball Gods couldn’t decide who they wanted to stand in for him, so they gave us a three-way tie between Taj Gibson, Marquese Chriss and Julius Randle.

The two men who were killed were identified as 18-year-old Marcus Conway and 22-year-old Marquese Taylor, both from Memphis.
